Description

This is my attempt at NGC7000 (the North America Nebula), part of my salute to U.S.A which just celebrated its independence on July 4th. I say attempt because when I went out to capture this one I thought I'd be able to get the whole thing in the frame with my Celestron 9.25" EdgeHD and Hyperstar combination. I very quickly realized that I had bitten off more than I could chew.

I love this nebula because of the stunning structures present throughout as well as the deep red hue. Because of all the structure this one was difficult for me to process and I spent twice as much time as normal (my goal was to get this out closer to July 4th but I took my time). I'm happy with the way it turned out and I hope you like it too!
