Iris Nebula - OSC + Mono Luminance

Added 7.5 hours of luminance data with the asi183mm to my recent Iris data. The improvement of this data is really convincing me it's time to ditch the color camera and go ahead and dive deep into mono-imaging.

Feedback and Criticism is welcome as always!

Acquisition:

* 97x120s with the asi071mc at -10C with a D1 Filter (for RGB)

* 225x120s with the asi183mm at -10C with a D1 Filter (for Luminance)

* Flats: combination of sky flats and ceiling flats for each session

* Darks: 60x120s at -10C

* Bias: None

* Bortle Dark-Sky Scale: 4.00

* Pixel scale: 0.5 arcsec/pixel

RGB Processing:

* Pre-Processing with PixInsight

* Calibrated and stacked using LVA PreProcessing Steps

* Integrated best 97 of 121 frames selected using a combination of Blink and Subframe Selector

* Star Align and Crop based on L integration |> DBE |> Background Neutralization |> Color Calibration |> MMT Noise Reduction |> SCNR Green |> Remove hot pixels with clone stamp |> HSV Repair Separation |> Arcsinh Stretch |> Curves to boost saturation

L Processing:

* Calibrated and stacked using LVA PreProcessing Steps

* Integrated best 225 of 300 frames selected using a combination of Blink and Subframe Selector

* DBE |> Deconvolution with regularization - replacing stars afterwards with pixelmath using a starnet created, clipped, convolved star mask |> TGV&MMT Noise Reduction |> Masked Stretch |> Curves with luminance mask to increase contrast |> Additional TGV Noise Reduction |> Power of Inverted Pixels on background regions |> HDR Multiscale Median on the Core

Combination:

LRGB Combination with no chromatic noise reduction |> Curves for increasing saturation |> Unsharp mask to bring out the details in the core.

Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.
Promotions by Submitters When 3 distinct Submitters promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for Top Pick status. This requirement, in addition to anonymization of images and distribution to only a subset of them, prevents biases and ensures that the best images are selected.
Promotions by Reviewers When 3 distinct Reviewers promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for IOTD status.
Early dismissal Staff members have a lot of images to inspect on a daily basis, and they can dismiss images if they believe they don't meet the requirements for IOTD/TP selection. If an image is dismissed 5 times, it's removed from the process. This streamlines the process and ensures that any bias present in promotions could be overruled by other staff members.
