Description

This object is a faint molecular cloud located 700 light years away in the constellation of Hercules. It is one of the closest molecular clouds to earth, and perhaps the least spectacular.

This object was mistakenly included in the Sharpless catalog and therefore carries the designation of being an emission nebula, even though it is not.

Many times DSOs will surprise me with some aspect of their beauty or structure. This object did nothing for me and I regret the 8 hours of my life I wasted on imaging and processing such a dull image. Not really, but it certainly won't land in my Favorites category.
