I was very pleased to finally see some clear weather predicted for our area. However, the smoke indicator showed we would have high level smoke over the entire period. I still wanted to image so I picked a fairly bright object - M27. This was always a favourite of mine when I viewed. It reminded me of the candy floss I would get at the circus. I wasn't sure the best way to image through high level smoke, so, I tried using LRBG as well as Ha and Olll. Over 4 nights I imaged a total of 18.8 hours - more than any other image.
