Description

Hi,

An other picture from Les Cévennes, with the milky way arch covering the airglow.
The airglow combined with the clouds, moisture and the little light pollution gave a really unusual color rendering, from green to orange.

Almost 85 images to make a 360° panorama, taken the same night as my previous picture.
Processed with PS and PTGui Pro.

A tough work, because to get the milky way arch at the zenith, the final picture is heavily distorted and stretched, and the chroma noise at the edge of the final picture is amplified and hard to deal with.

Sony A7s, Sony 28mm at F2,8, 85 x 8 sec at 12800 ISO.

CS, David.
