Presenting the LRGB version of the Cat's Paw nebula (NGC6334), located in the constellation of Scorpius approximately 5,500 light years from our planet earth. This distance places this object well within our own Milky Way galaxy hence the presence of a rich star field and voluminous amount of Hydrogen Alpha (Ha) gas present. The presence of Ha results in the very red colours that one sees in images taken of this area. Whilst this is a very bright object the heavy concentration of Ha and the wide dynamic range makes for a challenging time with processing the data.
