This handsome galaxy is in the constellation Pavo. If is often thought to be the Milky Way’s twin (although it is twice as large). Some people also think the satellite galaxy is similar to our Large Magellanic Cloud. The surrounding star field is wonderful in its own right, with star of all sizes and colors.
