Description

I managed 47 subs of this, but as is the case almost every night with imaging from the UK, only about 20% of those are 'good'. If I only used the really best ones, I doubt I would have enough in the stack, to be honest. So, I go with what I can. The biggest challenge was taming the 5 brightest stars whilst retaining the balance with the other stars - I have a method of sorts, but a much better online PixInsight tutorial is far too complex for me, relative to the time I have to learn things for this 'hobby'.

Each of the subs was 6 minutes long, as I try to make the best use of this unusual spell of clear nights - it looks to change very soon. Integration time was 4 hours and 42 minutes, all through my 8" reflector and the Canon 700Da. I am pleased that I have managed to bring out the tiniest bit of Ha in the galaxy. Thanks everyone...
