Description

Standard HA RGB processing. I unloaded the destarred HA, the stars reinitegrated HA and the final RGB versions for those interested in the processing steps.

These are the relevant steps:

Clone and destar Ha label Ha_destarred
Substract destarred Ha from Original
Label residual as Stars
Denoise in PS Ha_destarred RGB
ReOpen in PI Ha_destarred_denoised and RGB_denoised
L clip RGB_denoised
HDRM 6 then Stretch Ha
Add back in stars

Stars added back into previous destarred HA image

HA integrated to RGB in Photoshop

D

Color saturation increased. HA is L layer in Photoshop and if you enhance the L too much with the HA the image gets pinkish. This brings the pink down with increased saturation in PI. Could not sure which is best approach.
