Description

Firework galaxy is small for my 140mm telescope, framing it with the open cluster(NGC6939) nearby makes the photo more balance. Firework surely has lots of ha signal to make its name.  it sits between Cepheus and Cygnus. The galaxy and the open cluster seem within same distance, but they are million light years away iin reality.  NGC6939 is around 4000 light years away from earth, while firework galaxy is 25.2 million light years away.  Both of them were discovered by William Herschel on 9/9/1798. Cooperating Texas weather in July and August does help. It didn't take too long to collect enough data from our remote observatory.
