Description

Just southeast of Tucson, off the Old Sonoita Highway, is an abandoned Titan missile site. The site has a large concrete pad, ideal for setting up. And, it is reasonably dark. So, it is a nice place for night time imaging and observing. This image is a 2 minute exposure. The glow is from Sierra Vista, about 30 miles away on the other side of a mountain range. A car drove by, illuminating the hill in the foreground. It is a single frame, no bias, flats or darks.
