Description

This is Arp 65 or NGC90 interacting with NGC93. NGC90 is the spiral and exibihits heavily distorted spiral arms. NGC93 is tilted more towards our point of view.

Interestingly, both galaxies have a large variing distance between 188 to 480Mly for NGC90 and 192 to 328Mly for NGC93.

This image need more integration time, there is a lot going on in the background of this field. Love it!

Unfortunately, there are some streaks and are larger circular region to the top left appearing darker than the rest of the image, which is due to flats. My camera needed cleaning of the window protecting the CCD chip area and the desiccant needed to be renewed. There was some residue from fogging of the window. All done and I am getting very clean frames again, much easier to work with flats. See my recent images (Holmberg266 for example)
