The earth panorama was taken in a moonless night from the same location as the sky frames, and mounted as seen from 47°50' latitude at 17:30 sidereal time.

Lens aperture was f/4

I used an Arduino based selfmade controler for triggering the DSLR and slowing down the AstroTrac via the guider port between frames to get a bit of dithering.

All the equipment needed (plus sleeping bag) fits into a backpack. I go to the imaging location by bike :-)
