Description

After our friend Zeca, called attention to Sirsalis J and its shadow apparently abnormal, also launched some very interesting speculation, my curiosity was aroused. I've been analyzing the QuickMap and created a three-dimensional image of that crater. I searched the internet but could not find specific information about the same. I think it is interesting to repeat here his claims:

"There's something abnormal Sirsalis J, that crater just below Sirsalis F. See that shadow direction inner crater is at a different angle from the other surrounding craters. Moreover it seems to be at the top of a hill and this could explain the its shadow "wrong". Sirsalis If J is an impact crater near the top of a mountain, it could be with some inclination different from the other craters that occur in plain would explain his shadow with different orientation. still could speculate that this mountain could be a volcano for its apparent shape of a cone and being on Rimae Sarsilis.

These are speculations, but I think an interesting research. "

I believe that the impact of an object of this size at the top of a hill that would probably destroy the lot, but are pure assumptions without any basis.

Actually observing the three-dimensional image QuickMap has the strong impression that there exists a super Dome, which I am not aware that there is some on the moon with these proportions Anyway as I said Zeca, are pure speculation but they make art Lunar photography a hobby so tasty.
