Description

Corona Australis is a distinctive constellation that is high in the sky during the southern hemisphere winter in Australia. Long exposure imaging shows an fascinating dark nebula and a number of reflection nebula embedded within the constellation. Also clear in the image is the globular cluster NGC 6723. The image is taken with the Canon EF 200mm F2.8L lens and is a field of view of approximately 6.5 degrees.
