Dans cette image, nous pouvons noter la présence du satellite Ganymède en transit devant le disque de Jupiter et Io près du membre droit. Les détails peuvent être vus sur l’Europe. Sa surface est caractérisée par une alternance de zones sombres et claires parfaitement reconnaissables sur le disque. Ce sont des terrains rocheux et d’autres couvertures de glace, d’où cette variation importante de l’albédo. 45 mn de dérotation avec WinJupos (de 02 :38 à 03 :23 UT) pour 13 runs IR.G.B.

Title: Reprocessing - Jupiter with Ganymede in transit and IO on 02-08-2022

Description: This is an image that I reprocessed for two reasons, on the one hand colors too dull for a gaseous planet and on the other hand a little too noisy.
The Astrosurface software has some interesting tools.
I first took the white point and the black point in order to be able to bring a good color saturation.
A reduction of HF noise and colors.
Finally a slight sharpening.
I also had to correct an error pointed out by my friend Niall. It is not Europe in transit but Ganymede.
I think the image is more aesthetic and enhances the contrast of the moons and the 3D effect of Ganymede in particular.

C’est une image que j’ai retraitée pour deux raisons, d’une part des couleurs trop ternes pour une planète gazeuse et d’autre part un peu trop bruitée.

Le logiciel Astrosurface dispose d’outils intéressants.
J’ai d’abord repris le point blanc et le point noir afin de pouvoir apporter une bonne saturation des couleurs.
Une réduction ensuite du bruit HF et couleurs.
Enfin un léger aiguisage.

Il fallait que je corrige également une erreur relevée par mon ami Niall. Ce n’est pas Europe en transit mais bien Ganymède.

Je pense que l’image est plus esthétique et renforce le contraste des lunes et l’effet 3D de Ganymède en particulier.
