Description

Imaged on the night of Perihelion!

In the Evening sky, with a magnitude estimate of 10.2, this ghosted colorful comet is moving across the stars of Virgo.  Perihelion date was July 11, 2021 and the comet will increase its distance from us and the sun from here on out.

Expected to hold onto its brightness through August, don't wait to observe it until its next return of over 5500 years.
