Description

The three galaxies, M65, M66 and NGC 3628 is a small galaxy group about 36 million lightyears away from the front lens of my telescope.

The seeing the three nights during image acquisition was not very good and guiding terrible, but the stars came out nice and round so I guess I did something right int the process.

One of the evenings as my behind was firmly mounted into my chair on my front porch, calibrating the equipment, a police car passed by my house.

The boys in blue noticed me and my scope, stopped the police car and asked me if it was possible to take a look into the scope, but the camera was attached to the scope and the sky was to bright at that moment , so instead I gave them a speak about astrophotography, what to find in the night sky and a gave them a look at my images stored on my iPad.

Nice guys, great patience.
