Description

Very happy to have been able to achieve this photography in order to share it with you. Out of all the pictures taken totalling 17 hours of exposure per 10 minutes, I kept only 11 hours.

The colors in this image were calibrated based on the palette used to render the Hubble Space Telescope shots, namely blue for oxygen emissions, green for hydrogen emissions, and red for sulphur.
Melotte 15 is an open cluster located in the IC1805 nebula, also known as the Heart Nebula, located about 6,500 light-years away in the constellation Cassiopeia.
It is the stellar winds and the energetic radiation of the hot and massive stars forming part of this cluster that make it possible to sculpt the dust clouds into fantastic shapes.
