Description

This pair of galaxies was taken almost a year ago and then forgotten about. Only 9 frames. I suppose more would be better.

NGC5850 is a barred spiral surrounded by a much fainter diffuse halo.

NGC5846 is the brightest member of the a small group of galaxies. This galaxy has a prominent core surrounded by a bright halo. It is actually two overlapping galaxies, A and B.

There should be 15 other galaxies in this image, but I count 8 easily, and 2 more if I squint.

Again, this image is an experiment processed solely with Affinity Photo. I'm going to try to follow it up using just PixInsight.
