Description

Picturing the Moon among clouds is like ice fishing. Caught merely four images (from four holes) yesterday through transparent but pretty unsteady air. The lunar phase was just right for the Janssen crater family and the more southerly, less known craters Vlacq, Rosenberger, Manzinus and Schomberger.

Janssen, Vallis Rheita, Fabricius, Metius, Brenner and Rheita are the craters at the right of the final image. All images are stacks of 400 from 4000 frames taken through an extended (filter wheel) 2x barlow in mono8, 1.5x drizzled.
