Description

The Fishhead Nebula (IC 1795) is a bright emission nebula 6,000 light-years away from Earth in the northern constellation of Cassiopeia. Spanning 70 light years across, it is part of a complex of star forming regions that lie at the edge of a large molecular cloud (W3) located in the Perseus spiral arm of our Milky Way.
