Description

The Lagoon Nebula - Messier 8 in the Sagittarius constellation. One of my absolute favorite objects.
Since I photographed the Trifid Nebula just above last year, I really wanted to photograph the lagoon. This year I made it early, started in May, which is actually too early...but it was a good desicion.

Honestly, the resolution that came out for the relatively short exposure time knocks me off a bit - the core has an incredible amount of details. I attach a photo of the core and its surroundings.

Description: The Background was way to dark, i calibrate the Background new, so it looks like more Natural to me. Its still to dark, but 1,5 Hours of RGB are dont give more options on Bortle 4 i think.
