Description

M81 Bodes Nebula (galaxy)

The galaxy is a grand design spiral galaxy in Ursa Major (The Bear). Approximately 12 million light years away and estimated to be 70,000 light years across. it is estimated to be250 million solar masses in size.

This was quick experiment to see how the ASI 294 MC pro faired on a larger galaxy target. I plan to compare it to future LRGB with ASI 1600 in the next month or so.

I did not care for my initial edits and initially decided not to post it, but I went back and redid the edit and it improved enough to share.
