Description

The summer triangle asterism is is formed by the bright stars Vega, Deneb, and Altair.  The band of the Milky Way (see ever so faintly in this image) passes roughly in a line from Deneb to Altair.  Imaged from suburban Ohio on June 18, 2022.

Imaged using a Nikon D5300 (full spectrum modified), IDAS HEUIB-II (H-α Enhanced UV IR Blocking) filter, and 14 mm Rokinon lens at F/2.8. Exposures were 15 seconds at ISO-1600.

Combined 25 subs using Sequator (composition = align stars/freeze ground, auto brightness=ON, HDR=ON, LP reduction = OFF, enhance starlight=ON). Additional post-processing in PixInshight: DBE background subtraction, scnr (green), and curves transformation adjustments.
