Description

I captured this data back in 2017 with an imaging Newt.  My skies have been pretty poor lately and I'm revisiting some older data.   The Iris is a beautiful target and I as I processed this I remember being surprised by how the Ha enhanced the image.  I'm not sure really about how true the Ha signal is, but it did come through pretty strong in the Ha integration.  Like many regions of the sky there is often a thin Ha signal, so perhaps there is just a permeation of Ha across this area.  It's subtle but I think from a pretty picture point of view it offers a different palette than most often adopted for the Iris.
