Description

While imaging NGC6946 with Moravian CCD on the 10", my Eoa 600da and the 200L lens were mounted on Vixen Polarie, to get a widefield impression of the area. Next to the galaxy, the open star cluster NGC6939 is the second prominent deepsky object on the photo. There are some dark nebulae in the field, the one on top is called B150. The 200L is not bad, but far from the performance of the 100L, the red channel is not quite sharp and astigmatic aberrations plague the edges. So only a 66% view is presented. North is left in this picture. Note little UGC11557, a 13mag galaxy, from 6939 down in a right angle to 6946, and roughly double the distance.
