Description

With the advent of high accuracy photometric spectroscopy, we now know that Stephan's Quintet is actually Stephan's Quartet with our perspective adding the fifth member which is not really near the gravitationally interacting foursome. This wide field shows another set of gravitationally interacting galaxies as well: NGC 7331 and its entourage.

While this certainly isn't an example of my finest imagery to date, less than a year ago I would have been thrilled to death to have achieved an image like this. I've come a long way in 11 months.
