I present to you how I saw the Heart and Soul nebulae from the terrace of my home under the city stars.
I can not fit both object into the field of view of my scope so I decided to make a mosaic. This was the hardest mosaic for me up to now because in order to manage to stitch the images I had to image at 45 degrees rotation of my cam. And at 45 degrees it was hard to set the intersection of both frames. The intersection here is really in the range of 100-200 pixels.
I love the cloud formations in both objects. One can also see how they interact between themselves.
After platesolving I found out that I have managed to capture a total of 10 objects from the Sharpless 2 catalogue
Quite a rich catch.
In addition this time I imaged with Gain 0 and found out that the HFR of my stars is lower with 1 point and I was able to remove the background gradient more easily.
