Description

The Helix Nebula (NGC-7293) is one of the nearest planetary nebulae. It lies between 400 and 500 light years from Earth. Visually it is almost the size of the full moon.

This image was acquired on the evening of August 18, 2020.

Imaging Scope: C-11 with HyperStar III (f/2)

Imaging Camera: ZWO ASI 071 MC

Guiding Scope: Orion 80ED 80mm f/7.5 APO Refractor

Guide Camera: ZWO ASI 174mm Mono

Guided, captured and combined using Maxim DL v 5.2

Post processed using PhotoShop CS2

This is an integration of twenty-eight 4 minute sub-exposures
