Description

Localized in constellation Perseus Caldwell 14 better known as the Double Cluster or NGC 869 and NGC 884, is a relatively young structure. Distance from Earth is about 7,000 to 7,500. The clusters are blushifted which means they are getting closer to our solar system. The picture was edited in PS again, practically using just curves. Stars were beautified using a star brush (it was a really tedious and long process). Picture: 5 x 6 mnts = 30 mnts. DSS for stacking (5 darks, 10 flats, no bias). Equipment: Explore Scientific 80mm APO triplet - FL 480mm, iOptron field flattener, Canon 650D (T4i), CG5 eq-mount, guided with a QHY5v and PHD. Thanks for looking
