Description

Imaged Mars in IR and RGB on the evening of November 6, 2020 (11/7 in UTC) with good seeing and transparency. Mars was showing a disc ~19 arcsecs (97% illuminated) in diameter at magnitude of -1.9. The prominent dark albedo feature to the right of the meridian is Sinus Meridiani.

Imaged with a C8 Evo, ZWO filter wheel, ZWO IR 850nm pass filters Siebert 2x barlow, ZWO ADC, and ZWO ASI290MM. Imaging train was configured to give ~F/18 (0.165 arcsec/pixel). Image capture using Firecapture with gain/exposure set at : 350/6.0 ms. Stacking in AutoStakkert3 (best 5% of ~40000 frames captured over ~240 sec). Wavelet sharpening in Registax6. De-rotated 4 sets of images in Winjupos.
