Description

It seems just about every 6 months or so, I attempt to re-process my favorite data.  This is the third time I've processed my data on Orion's Belt and it gets better and better each time.  The past few photos of this target I've posted is the exact same data.  I did not re-shoot it.  Just practiced my processing and tried to get better results each time.  This time, I've oriented it horizontally as Orion lays on its side with his shoulder out of frame to the left and legs out of frame to the right.  Orion's Belt is made of the three bright blue stars stacked vertically on the left side of the frame starting at the red Horse Head Nebula and Flame Nebula.  The Orion Nebula is the bright nebula to the right.  And we can also see the red Barnard's Loop peaking in the bottom left corner as it meets the dim reflection nebula, M78.
