Description

The heart of NGC 7822 is a beautiful star forming region in Cepheus some 2900 ly from Earth at a declination of 67° 25'. It encompasses Sh 2-171 and includes BD+666 1673, one of the hottest stars discovered within 1 kpc of the sun. Also embedded is Berkeley 59 an open cluster that contributes to the nebula's luminance.

No matter what I tried, I could not get the color where I wanted it on this one. Sometimes they cooperate, sometimes they don't, I guess...
