Description

The return of the Milky-Way

If the clear skies don't come to you, the best option is to go where the sky is actually clear. Having horrible weather at home for quite a while, the only option to see some stars again was to drive away to a place with good weather.

This is what happened on Friday, when the forecast was showing clouds for the eastern half of England and pretty good weather for the Western half. The chosen location was Kimmeridge Bay in Dorset where I joined 3 of my friends looking for the same thing as I was.

The skies were absolutely amazing and you could clearly see the Milky-Way core rising above the hills in the East and arching all the way to Cassiopeia in the North.
