Description

So after seeing the recent discovery image of the Titan Nebula (Patchick-Strottner-Drechsler 9) by Andreas Zirke (https://www.astrobin.com/2hxz9g/) I decided to see if I could pick it up in a wider field to see what other fun things might be around it.  I'm too impatient to get the 129 hours of that image, but this is what I could pull out of 25.5 hours at f/1.8 from somewhat light polluted skies (avg SQM of 19.8 or so).

The open cluster NGC752 is in the lower left, and edge-on galaxy NGC891 is a tiny little streak over on the right side.  The Titan Nebula shows up well.  There is a lot of H-alpha emission all around, including a pretty bright arc at the lower left.  But the Titan is really the only distinct feature that shows up in OIII, which tends to make me believe it is indeed a planetary nebula as has been proposed.  But I'm not an expert.  It looks cool anyway!
