Description

I used just the best 139 20s frames out of 360 collected in order to achieve the best resolution.

Effective focal length was about 1060-1070 mm.

The use of a monochrome camera allows for higher definition but it is also more demanding on tracking, because if OSC/DSLR's Bayer matrix on the one hand reduces resolution, it at the same time also eases constraints for tracking, so much so that in comparable conditions I can achieve with my setup and an OSC/DSLR 75% good 30s frames, while in monochrome I got less than 40% good 20s frames.
