Description

This time we have choosed a classic one…And it’s exceptional for us we find the starless version is the better, but we present the SHO version with a rich palette with reduced stars and starless and also a starless SH-HO-O.Tarentula and neighbors in SHOAlso known like 30 Doradus or NGC 2070 or Caldwell 103, the Tarantula Nebula is 170 000 light-years away in the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) in the southern sky and is clearly visible to the naked eye as a large milky patch. Astronomers believe that this smallish, irregular galaxy is currently going through a violent period in its life cycle. It is orbiting the Milky Way and has had several close encounters with it. It is believed that the interaction with the Milky Way has caused an episode of energetic star formation – part of which is visible as the Tarantula Nebula. The Tarantula is the largest stellar nursery we know in the local Universe. In fact if this enormous complex of stars, gas and dust were at the distance of the Orion Nebula it would be visible during the day and cover a quarter of the sky.At the bottom of the image, the brightness of this enormous emission nebula is due to a cluster of young and massives stars : R136a. This cluster is a little problem for astronomers, the theory explain a star cannot exceed 150solar masses and the star R136a is estimated between 200 and 300 masses….In this complex, we can identify also many others nebulae and clusters.
