Description

NGC 2170, also known as the Angel Nebula, is a reflection nebula in the constellation Monoceros. Reflecting the light of nearby hot stars, NGC 2170 is joined by other bluish reflection nebulae, a red emission region, many dark absorption nebulae, and a backdrop of colorful stars.

Definitely one of my favorites nebulae, so i gave it a try with a Telescope Live little data set (only 6x600s per filter, but that ASA 500 f/3.6 Newton is awesome!) because Monoceros is not accessible enough from my city Backyard.

Data acquired at El Sauce Observatory, Chile, from 24 to 26 march 2022.
