Description

Aristarchus Crater and Vallis Schroteri using RGB filters.

Oversaturtaion of colors showing different mineral composition of the Moon.

Dark blue areas are rich of titaium and iron mierals, magneta and red fields showing parts of Moon rich of aluminium. And brown and orange fields are fields poor of iron.

Aristarchus itself is one of the brightes craters on the Moon (with one of the highest albedo) and very complex mineral composition.
