Description

Space is dirty. What do you expect, when you're looking inside an almost-vacuum? 😂

M78 peeping through the dust-bunnies in 44 x 300s subs collected by El Bucko and the QHY 163C from my Bortle 5 driveway on Tuesday night.It was a bit windy and this used my old mount, so there is a little trailing in RA.

How lucky are we, that the dust thins out just enough in all the right places, for us to be able to peer in to this nebula from our exact spot in the galaxy?
