Description

This is one of my largest panels! I recently travelled to a bortle 3 sky place in the andes, 3000 meters over sea level. Skies up there are really beautiful, and transparency is really good.

As my latitud here is 12 degrees south, the great magellanic clouds get a max altitud of 30 or 40 degrees. Thankfully, the horizon up there in the andes is very flat, so that gives me some extra time to capture this incredible galaxy (or a part of it)!

Each panel took about 20 minutes with the insane speed of the RASA at f2. I used my largest sensor, which is the ZWO 071 MC camera, than can produce blocky stars at 400 mm, but those aren´t noticeable in a large scale image.

This image hasn´t been uploaded at it´s best resolution (it is below 50 mb). The original file size, is 84 mb.

Hope you like it!
