Description

The last photons to arrive in this astro season came from the constellation Gemini, and what is believed to be the remnants of a supernova that had a serious blowout some thousands year ago.

Even though the Jelly fish nebula is very faint, a small and fast telescope can capture the object quite well within reasonable exposure times. I used a small 60mm Takahashi with a reducer lense, bringing the focal length down to 264mm and thus a decent photography speed of F/4.4. I could only get an hour or two during the darkest hours of the night, bringing the total exposure up to 8 hours.
