Description

I had seen many images of M31 in LRGB or RGB with some H-alpha blended in to enhance the emissions nebulae, but never a "only narrow band image". Of course, it does not make a lot of sense because, apart from the hydrogen clouds, the rest of the galaxy has a continuum spectrum, but still I wanted to see would would come out. This is the result. I find it intereting, it seems to me like the skeleton of the galaxy...

H-alfa 5 hours 50min

OIII 5 hours

SII 5 hours 10min

Total 16 hours, in subframes of 10 min each, unguided
