Description

Barnard 175 is the long dark nebula, vdB 152 ist the blue reflection nebula at the end. A lot went wrong when imaging this object: distance corrector - camera was too short, due to strong wind I had to throw away 1/3 of the frames and in the most frames there is a reflection across the whole image which to remove was a lot of work. Canon EOS 600Da, Newton 8" f/4 with RCC-I, AZ EQ-6, Guiding with MGEN; 18x20min, ISO 400; processed with Theli (stacking, color calibration), Fitswork (RGB combine, L stretch, 32 -> 16bit), Adobe Camera Raw (denoise, sharpen), Photoshop (L + RGB combine, levels, curves, etc., create star mask), PixInsight LE (shrink stars)
