NOTES: O and B stars are not distributed at random in the sky, but instead concentrated in loose conmoving groups that Ambartsumian (1947) first referred to as OB associations.OB associations are generally distributed along spiral arms and con-fined to the Galactic plane. Some of the best evidence that the formation of massive starscan induce the formation of other low-to high-mass has been found in OB associations..around the region occupied by the Per OB1 association,a number of the candidate PMS stars at Galactic latitudes as low as about -10º appear to be close to or coincident with dust clouds. An examination of optical images from DSS2 reveals bright rimmed clouds,comet-shaped clouds and reflection clouds coincident with these dust clouds. A search of the catalog of bright nebulae compiled by Lynds (1965), reveals that RMC2 ( Remnant Molecular Cloud) is associated with LBN 640. Credits of information: Hsu Tai-Lee and Jeremy Lim.
