Description

I had forgotten this set of subs of IC4812. This one is much better than the first I used to process the first image of this object I uploaded.

This region is close to the northern limit of Corona Australis constellation. It's distant from solar system around 500 light-years and the dark areas are dust clouds. The visble objects in this view are NGC 6726 & 6727 (upper blue nebula), 6729 (nebula slightly below and to the left), and IC 4812 (lower blue nebula). NGC 6729 surrounds the variable star R Coronae Australis. The globular cluster is NGC 6723 on the upper right corner of the frme and is distant about 30,000 light years from solar system.
