Description

Jupiter as seen from at 5 AU (Astronomical Units) distance.

i.e. 5 times the distance of the earth to the sun, or

748.8 million km away, or

58,766 times the diameter of the earth away, which probably conveys the distance a little better.

The telescope and various auxiliary imaging devices yield an imaging focal length of around 7000 mm, which is around 35 times the 'pull' of a standard 200 mm camera zoom lens.
