Description

This cluster with age between 12 and 14 billion years, is one of the oldest known. It is very metal-poor, having a mass of 400.000 Suns.

It's size is 12.2 arc -sec what corresponds to a diameter of about 100 light years. It orbits the galaxy in an orbit with around 20 deg of inclination respect to the disk what takes the cluster to 13 million years away from the galactic center.

Recent simulations have shown that M-92 complete completes one revolution around the galaxy once every hundred million years.

The distance from Solar System is 27 thousand Ligh Years.
