Description

Located in the Perseus Arm of the Milky Way at a distance of 7,500 light-years from Earth lies the Heart Nebula (IC 1805). The nebula is illuminated by an open cluster, at its center, known as Melotte 15, which contains several bright stars that are 50 times as massive as our Sun and many more dim stars. The deep blue and orange colors are from ionized sulphur and oxygen gases. Also visible, in this image, is a part of the Soul Nebula (IC 1848) which lies at approximately the same distance.
This image is made up of 18 hours and 50 minutes of total exposure time. I combined 300s and 600s subs and drizzled the data. I also did a considerable amount of star reduction because of the intense star field.  The data was taken between January 2021 and July 2022 by Telescope Live's SPA-3 telescope (Takahashi FSQ-106EDX4/FLI Pl 16803) in Oria, Spain.
Anyway, hope ya like it!
Tom
